“Waiting for the darkness” is a documentation of an instrumental transcommunication action realized in a forest. It’s composed by a video, recorded in a forest during the last hours of the day and by an audio composed by short wave radio signals and field recordings recorded during the action. This work wants to investigate the dimension of fear. The story is talking about a person looking for a contact with presences through radio signals, but then, he’ll get lost in the forest meeting very particular presences coming out during the night in every forest and maybe in every soul. This installation is composed by a video projection in a dark room where are installed sixty short wave radio receivers. Each radio is tuned on a different frequency creating a constantly changing chaotic dimension leading to the pure perception of the audio/video representing the action of instrumental transcommunication.
